Ben's Canteen will offer burgers, beer, DIY donuts and plenty more
A neighbourhood hangout specialising in burgers, wine and brunch is how Ben's Canteen describes their restuarants.
With branches already launched in Earlsfield and Clapham Junction, a third outlet at Battersea Power Station is an obvious move for the Wandsworth eatery.
Following a successfull pop-up at Circus West over Christmas and New Year, Ben's Canteen is due to open a permanent branch at the Power Station.
Ben's burgers are never short on fillings
A full-on brasserie menu will serve
burgers paired with wines alongside snacks like duck nuggets, pulled pork nachos and Scotch egg. A range of mains can be washed down with a selection of cocktails and craft beers, to be followed with Ben's signature dessert of DIY donuts. Come the weekend there's a brunch menu full of hangover-curing indulgent treats, coffee and Bloody Marys.
Ben's Canteens are also dog friendly both during the day and at night.
Ben Walton
Founder Ben Walton explains the ethos behind his venture, "My aim was to create an alternative to the pub. I absolutely love going to the pub, especially for an all-dayer or a boozy Sunday lunch.
"It took me a year and half from deciding to do it to actually opening the doors on St John's Hill in Clapham Junction. I cobbled together the bare minimum from friends and family and I am eternally grateful for the faith they showed in me.
"A little later, I pushed my luck again and asked them to help set up a second Ben's Canteen, this time in Earlsfield - cheers guys!"
