Police Appeal For Witnesses
Police are appealing to the public for information following a fatal road collision in Wandsworth that left a 25-year-old man dead.
The incident occurred in East Hill, SW18, at the junction with Tonsley Hill, at approximately 18.15hrs on Monday, 10 October.
A Yamaha motorcycle collided with a BMW 1 Series car as its driver attempted to turn right into Tonsley Hill from East Hill.
London's Air Ambulance and the Ambulance Service attended and the motorcyclist was taken to St George's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination was carried out at St George's mortuary on 12 October and the results are awaited.
Next of kin have been informed and the deceased can be confirmed as Jamie Jackson Hughes, 25, from Battersea.
