Elderly pedestrian was in a collision with a lorry
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal
collision in Wandsworth.
The incident happened shortly before 11am on Friday 17th February in
Upper Tooting Road when an elderly male pedestrian was in collision
with a lorry.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended but the male was
pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, who was in his
90,s but await formal identification and next of kin to be made aware.
A post mortem is due to take place at Battersea Coroners Court on 21st
February.
An Inquest will open and adjourn in due course.
The lorry driver stopped at the scene.
There have been no arrests.
