Funfairs and sea air, first meetings and fond farewells: but the memories are fading fast. Unwilling to become lost in the ever-shifting landscape of her past, Edna seeks out ways of learning about how to preserve who she is in the present. When everything she can remember is falling away, who is Edna in the here and now?Join Edna on a journey of re-discovery through the stories of her past, navigating the depths of the neuron forest following a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.An interactive exploration of the personal significance of memories, and how we can retain our sense of self when we begin to lose them.Lost in the Neuron Forest is a promenade performance developed by Bread and Goose with generous support from the Wellcome Trust, The Leche Trust, Arts Council England and Arts Council Wales.
