Could anybody please tell how to Delete my Desktop pictures only ihave 4 on there at the moment? Windows XP.

I don't think it is this site Jim. I've tried emailing at different times and it appears it just disappears into cyberspace! Let's not worry about this site being semi-dormant - where will be test our masterpieces if it comes to life????????????

Hugh, Jim is the one to advise and he's given you some guidelines here. It all seems so complicated over there. My first ISP was AOL but I soon changed. It was expensive and very cumbersome.

Hugh If you send me you e-mail address I'll send you a list of ISPs and details of customer satisfaction rates.NTL was a don't buy ISPAOL..BT..Tiscali and Onetel were all deemed poorand Virgin..Tesco and Telewest not much better.Metronet and Waitrose did well

Hi Audrey, All done thank you.    About AOL. i have only been online with them for 6weeks,for Tec/help it was free know from the 1/8/05 you have topay. Any suggestions for a ISP.

Well Hugh, in my experience, if you are using AOL as your ISP - get out!!! They are hogs and also expensive. You have to do things THEIR way, not always the way you want to do things.Whatever, good luck with your problem!

Hi Audrey,Sorry i am late in coming back but p/c whent downi will contact aol/tec later today. I can put pictures on my desk top o/k but cant take them offthis is on screen before i go on line i am talking about.I will let you know how i get on. Thank You,Hugh 8-( )Zzzz

If it is not your own picture you want, go to "control panel", displaydesktopchoose from listing on left, or browse where you go to find your pictureto fill whole screen, choose "stretch"Maybe you have yours set to tile, if it is small picture you will get several pictures.That's all it is!

Can you explain a little more Hugh? When you want to set your desktop picture, go in to My Pictures find the one you want (look at it in filmstrip view so you get better idea of how it will appear large), right click and choose "set as desktop background". That's all there is to it.
