Jim I can't help laughing - me ski? No way Jose.....Never appealed to me but love mountains and if they have a decent lift to the top I'll go. Last year we went to Eastern Oregon, very isolated, the lift there was screeching as it went up and rust everywhere. Sorry, not for me!!Honestly don't know much about Yosemite, have never been. It is one of the things we keep meaning to do.
