The problem here, Jim, is that your URLs are those of whole web pages, not just images, which is why <img... doesn't work. The way that Microsoft have constructed the pages on local.live.com means, I think, that there is no means of obtaining a URL for the image itself.

1pm Report from a famished Scotch Egg fan!“Excuse me I’m looking for the Farmers’Market” “Yes, young man….it’s behind that van over there!”OooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooYou are an early bird in the mornings Nigel..and I’m glad that you caught pictures of queues and quite a few customers at the beginning. The first trader I bumped into was the regular Austrian Sausage man and his wife (and new baby). They’re a friendly couple and as you say they dispense wonderful smoked sausages (cheese flavoured are my favourite)..and I bought more for the weekend! OoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooThe Scotch Egg and Meat Pie man had a reduced sized stand..and do you know what? ….:0( yes I couldn’t believe it!! So no scotch eggs this week!OooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooThere seemed to be only 5 stalls there at 1pm ..the Egg Stall having left early.That was a good picture Nigel of a queue at the only vegetable stall..which proved that people did attend at some point. Then I arrived it was sparse, OooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooGladys was there with her Charity stall..and I bought some half dozen greeting cards “Handmade by Marlanne Gilbert of Brentford Middlesex” I’m not into buffalo flavoured items and the cheese I bought at that stall seemed a bit stale and expensive compared with my regular Davidstow!Spring onions and boiled beetroot were my purchases at the only vegetable stall.OoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooThe location in Brentford’s central square seems ideal and the market is sure to develop well….let’s hope so!..with more stalls etc…Even a book stall would be an asset! The traders told me that they would return next week too..so that’s good.

You are right Hugh! It was just the thought I wouldn't need to upload to an imaging site I could use Picasa and pop it on here. Picasa has some very good features, e.g. straightening! Hi everyone, I'm just having a break from trying to get our laptop working ... Windows registry corruption, I think, but Toshiba's recovery disk will only recover by deleting all your data. The backup is up to date except for the last week, but that week includes a weekend's worth of photos of our grandson ... Anyway, I was having a break and decided to check round the forums. A lot to read here!Congratulations, Ann!! I knew you'd have success if you stuck at it!Audrey, I'll email you this evening.I'm disappointed that Picasa seems to suffer from the problem that a direct link in a Forum post will only display the photo if it's already in your cache. (This happened to me with Audrey's band photo.) Must try and find out why once I've sorted the laptop.

What interesting news Jim??? Nothing from Richard via email. I've only just signed on (8.35pm Sunday) and haven't read any of the forums yet. Re photo organising; Google's Picasa 2 is quite popular. And from there you can directly post to a forum. But, I found it very slow to upload, FIM and PhotoBucket much faster. Also I like to organise my pictures myself and keep a back up copy on my external hard drive. Maybe not the most efficient but easier for me that Picasa!

jim,I am having very little success with Photobucket: grey panels, 'my album' refusing to show itself, etc. I may have a rethink and try one of the others, but thanks for your encouragement.Like I said, it would be a really scruffy picture that went through! Dylan's Mum and Ann Marie's Mum would go mad if they knew I'd used it...both kids had been playing outside and were 'rotten with the dirt' as they say here!
