Dear Francis, and everybody else,There is nothing at all wrong with The Freecycle Network. Never the less I think there is space in Wandsworth for both groups. Some people may prefer the one to the other: they are not exactly the same thing.You are right that The Freecycle Network has more members and a much wider network which is a pro for some people. However, Don't Dump That has been growing steadily since it's creation a year ago.The reason why I choose to be involved and to act as a moderator for the Don't Dump That site is because I feel that it takes more of a local community approach: it has a discussion board, it is an entirely independent website, run entirely from voluntary contributions and government funding, and is in the process of applying for charitable status.By all means sign up to both: check them out and see what you like about both of them.
