Murder in Lebanon Gardens

I'm sure everyone found this very shocking particularly with it happening so close to a police station. The day before I read an interesting article in the Standard which said that actually knife crime is likely to be down this year and a teen hadn't been stabbed to death in London since September (I knew when I read it they were tempting fate). One possible explanation was that the use of knives was going out of fashion!My point is I suppose that although a crime like does make us fearful for ourselves and our families but basically Wandsworth is a pretty safe place and safer than it used to be.

A lot of hard work has gone into tackling knife crime in the area and it takes time to change peoples outlook. The persons involved in this incident were older so pray that this means the next generation won't be blighted by this. It is only a crumb of comfort but it is now two months since a teen was stabbed to death in London.
