Meeting place at Clapham Junction

I'm looking for a suitable bar for two (respectable!) women in their 50s to meet up for lunch close to Clapham Junction station.  We don't want anywhere too dead but need to be able to talk so not too noisy or full of youth.  Food only needs to be "good enough", it's the right atmosphere that's more important. Hope someone can help.

No sorry, although I used to live just of Nothcote Road I never ever sampled any of the bars or restaurants there

Thanks Jean, the website pictures of Babel look quite nice.  Judging from the reviews it's quite young and lively in the evenings but do you have any idea if it would be suitable for two middle aged (but still young and trendy at heart) ladies to enjoy lunch?

Anna I did reply to you on the Ealing site but only noticed afterwards that you had said that you wanted a bar. My advice is to walk through St Johns road to the Northcote road, there are quite a few women friendly bars there.
