Muslim Children and Sex Education

Muslim parents teach their children to respect their teachers. From a very young age, we are taught that Islam teaches us that after our parents, our teachers are most deserving of respect. Also, western politicians put a huge blame on parents for neglecting their children’s upbringing nowadays. Parents are blamed for allowing their children to grow up as uncouth, disrespectful, promiscuous and antisocial members of society. So it must be an extremely confusing time for the Muslim parent in Leytonstone, London. For up to 30 parents may face prosecution for withdrawing their children from school, disobeying the teachers in the school, simply to secure a decent moral upbringing for their children. The school had decided to have a week of lessons about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history. Part of this was a special adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet retitled Romeo and Julian as well as fairytales and stories changed to show men falling in love with men. The Muslim parents have been told that local council officials may 'take action' against them for 'unauthorised absences' from school. Last year the Guardian reported statistics published by the Department for Children, Schools and Families showing that a record numbers of pupils persistently played truant in 2006-07, with around 272,950 pupils persistently absent in 2007, missing more than 20% of school. We rarely see councils prosecute the parents of these persistent truants. Yet, the parents who removed their children as a one-off to protect their morality may be prosecuted! If the local council does decide to go through with a prosecution, it would be in line with the government's approach to the Muslim community. Last month Communities Secretary Hazel Blears confirmed what had been leaked in the newspapers, that Muslims who believe homosexuality was a sin against the law of Allah (swt) would be labelled as extremists. Liberal totalitarianism is a growing phenomenon in Britain and the west in general but many people will be shocked that the school can override a parent's view of what's appropriate or inappropriate to teach their children. This latest episode should be a wakeup call for Muslim parents. Teachers are paid to teach our children. They are certainly not paid to impose their liberal values on our children. Muslim parents MUST explain our moral standards to schools and be prepared to take steps to protect our children’s morals and values from a growing agenda to impose liberal values upon them. The solution of all the problems facing Muslim children is state funded Muslim schools with Muslim teachers. Those state schools where Muslim children are in majority may be designated as Muslim community schools. Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. “O you who believe. Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.” [TMQ At-Tahrim 66:6]Iftikhar Ahmadwww.londonschoolofislamics.org.uk

SarahYou are right..Two wrongs don't make a rightBUT...Like I said Iftikhar is an adult and to be honest mouthy enough to do his own reportingHe is totally disrepectfull of this country and it's traditions and culture, he is ungratefull to a country that gave him and his like a decent standard of living (if not why is he here?)You show a great lack of understanding for the feelings and emotions of the  men and women who have  to day after day take second place to the likes of iftikhar, I'm not just talking about the muslim community, try working in a medical practice and experience the demands being made by people who have been in this country not longer than a week, then see these demands being met whilst your elderly parents who have paid contributions all their lives are being denied the same thing these people are getting, then listen as the pc brigade and our government deny this is happening, see how you feel about two wrongs then!!!!!Like I said It's no wonder people resort to name calling, Iftikhar may not name call but he is very clever at using other methods to wind people up. your children and grandchildrens futures may depend on if he gets his own way, think on that a while, worry about the kind of education your grandchildren can expect rather than fretting and getting in a state about remarks about pigs aimed at someone who quite honestly couldn't care less!!You won't be getting any Blue peter Badge for reporting Pauli...never mind maybe the pc brigade will give you a medal.

Sarah Of course it is your right to complain if something offends you...But come on girl!!!!!!!!!We all know by now that Iffy (as he is often refered to on here) enjoys posting on as many web sites as he can, enciting anger and encouraging as wide a devide between the muslim and none muslim communities as he possibly can.He himself has a thick skin and is not at all bothered by the names he is being called etc, you would realise this if you saw the reactions he gets on the many many other sites he spouts onHas he himself complained?NO!!Do you really think the point you made about the sex education issue being a none muslim issue too, meant anything to him?You might as well whisper into the wind, to begin with you are female and secondly you appear to be a none Muslim (Forgive me if I am wrong, but having very little to go on that is the impression I get)People who's parents and Grandparents fought and worked hard to make this country great are offended by Iftikhar and his like, who do their utmost to make English soil a no go area for them and their children (Iftikhars schools would not allow none Muslims through the doors, how would it be if none muslim schools did this to Muslims?)I have seen Iftikhars Propaganda splashed all over other web sites, He incites anger and hatred far and wide and to be honest I believe any school he was associated with would be a very dangerouse place indeed as far as integration and good relations between the the Muslim and none Muslim communities is concerned.Knowing what I know of this mans beliefs I actually found your small defence of him Offensive, The people who have to live day to day on REAL LIFE, ON THE GROUND, WALKING THE STREETS LEVEL with the demands of Iftikhar and his like, supported and constantly pandered to by our government and the PC brigade, have every right to be angry and upset, and this is likely to result in them verbally lashing out etc.I feel that maybe Pauli has had enough, and feels helpless to do anything about what he is seeing and having to live with.Maybe you experience a different level of living conditions to his, maybe he is closer to the problems than you are, either way I think you reporting his remarks was petty, Don't you have anything better to do?If Iftikhar is offended by any remarks aimed at him he is an adult and able to do his own reporting, the truth be known he really don't care as he considers us all to be beneath him, you included.
