Are you affected by the austerity cuts?

Hello, my name is Nicole Prinz and I´m a journalist working for a student-based local newspaper in London. I´m currently working on a project about how the upcoming austerity cuts will affect people in my local community and therefore I´m searching for people living in Wandsworth, who have been/will be affected by the cuts and who would be willing to answer some of my questions. I would really appreciate any help, as I know that the cuts will affect a lot of people in our community and I think it is important to let other people how some of us suffer from these immense savings. Or perhaps looking at the way in which WBC could generate more income by not, for example, selling off more assets but by using those assets to generate more income - after all, they have large reserves which can be spent on capital projects.

'I think it is important to let other people how some of us suffer from these immense savings'Would it not also provide some balance to analyse just exactly how 'immense' these savings have been and consider that at both local and national government levels the reduction in spending has been minimal. Perhaps it might be worth asking people on lower incomes would they be willing to pay an extra £700 a month as they would do in neighbouring boroughs on Council Tax if some of these cuts could be avoided?
