Open House London, the worldfamous annual festival of the
capital’s architecture, will take place on 21-22 September
giving free public access to more than 800 buildings, walks, talks and tours over that weekend.

This year the Putney Society with Roehampton University is
opening up the Grade II* listed Mount Clare Temple. This offers a rare opportunity to get up close to the 18th century Temple which has recently been made more accessible by the
University and not least to see the coved ceiling and wonderful
frescoes inside.

The Temple will be open only from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday 21st September. You’ll find it at the top of Minstead Gardens, keeping left past Mount Clare itself. Admission is free, as it is to all the many fascinating buildings in the Open House programme.
