The fourth Wandsworth Enterprise week takes place 6-11 March, with over 20 events – workshops, panel discussions, seminars and motivational talks - taking place across the borough.

The event offers free helps and support to people considering setting up a business in the borough, as well as giving established businesses and existing start-ups support to flourish and grow.

There will be more than 20 free workshop, seminars and events going on across the borough, including sessions for the food, creative and tech industries and pop up business advice clinics.

Highlight events of the week include:

• The Wandsworth Business Forum – the borough’s biggest networking event of the year
• Ready Steady Grow masterclass with Virgin Startup – Turbo charge your business idea with workshops
• The Wandsworth Den – pitch your start up idea to a ‘Dragons’ Den’-style panel of judges for as chance to win a fabulous prize to help further your business.
• Pop-up business advice clinics – one-to-one advice sessions which include PR, business law, start up finance, managing cash flow and business development.
• The Digital Garage with Google – Get the confidence, tools and skills you need to make your business more visible online.
• Women’s Enterprise Day – a celebration of female entrepreneurship on International Women’s Day
• Creative Enterprise – how creative businesses can increase sales and attract new clients

Speakers include:

• Jo Fairley - Co-founder of Green & Black’s Chocolate
• Maria Kempinska – Founder and CEO Jongleurs.
• Mike Southon – Entrepreneur, author and business speaker.
• Rebecca Burn-Callander – Former enterprise editor of the Daily and Sunday Telegraph.
• Patricia van den Akker - Director, The Design Trust.
• Kate Bassett – Features editor, Management Today

Virgin Startup, the event partner will be running a series of workshops and talks as well as taking part in the Wandsworth Den.

Participating organisations include NatWest, Prince’s Trust, the Design Trust, Google, Newable, Business Today magazine, the Intellectual Property Office, Seedrs, New Covent Garden Market, Young Enterprise, Workspace, Blue Dot Consulting and Hodders Law.
