Photo Competition: Your favourite picture of your favourite Royal Park
Launched at midday today (Tuesday 16 November), the photo competition is open to anyone aged 13 or over who has photographed one of the eight Royal Parks.
Contestants can enter by joining The Royal Parks’ Facebook page and posting a picture that they have taken of their favourite Royal Park in the Events section: www.facebook.com/TheRoyalParksLondon.
The winners will be decided by public vote through the Facebook site and the competition will run until midday on Monday 13 December 2010. First prize will be a set of eight London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games limited edition commemorative badges. Eight runners-up will each win an individual commemorative badge. The pin badges show a unique or iconic element of the eight different parks, as well as The Royal Parks’ and the London 2012 Games’ logos. Between now and January 2011 the badges are exclusively available from The Royal Parks’ online store: www.royalparksstore.org.uk.
