Police Concern for vulnerable 80 year old

Stanley Deadman has been missing since 25th May and has dementia

Police are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of a vulnerable 80-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Stanley DEADMAN went missing from the Wandsworth Borough Care Unit, 628 Aldrington Road, where he lives on 25.5.04. He was last seen at 16:45 on the same day.

He is a white man, with a balding head of white hair and beard, of stocky build and about 5ft 7" tall. He was last seen wearing a plain grey jumper, black tracksuit trousers and a pair of black shoes.

Mr Deadman has gone missing before and has been known to wander about in south-west London. He has no money or possessions with him.

DC Jim Sheehan, of Wandsworth Police said: "Even though Mr Deadman sometimes goes for a wander for several hours from the home where he lives, this is out of character for him and we are particularly concerned for him because of his age and illness - especially in this hot weather. We urge anyone who has seen him to contact us."

Anyone who has any information about Mr Deadman's whereabouts is asked to call Wandsworth Community Safety Unit on 020 8247 5412/3 or, out of hours, the Wandsworth Control Room on 020 8672 9922.
