Forthcoming Transport Disruption on Public Transport

Train and tube services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel over the next few weekends the following lines are affected by engineering works.

South West Trains

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March

Some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday for maintenance and renewal work. Part of London Waterloo station will also be closed for work on the Waterloo & South West Upgrade and many trains will leave London Waterloo from different platforms to normal - please check displays at station.
Please check displays for departure platforms at Vauxhall and Clapham Junction.
Queenstown Road station will have no service and passengers should use other stations nearby.

Many services will run to and from London Waterloo on the lines which remain open, but may be re-timed or make extra stops to cover other altered services. Services may also be altered due to work taking place elsewhere.

The following services will start at stations away from London Waterloo and passengers may need to change trains to complete their journeys. Where services are also affected by work elsewhere, replacement bus services may also be running.

Saturday service

Trains between London Waterloo and Hampton Court will only run between Surbiton and Hampton Court.
Trains between London Waterloo and Chessington will only run between Wimbledon and Chessington South.
There will be no South West Trains service between London Waterloo and Dorking. Passengers use Southern services from Clapham Junction or Epsom.
The “Kingston Loop” service will only run between London Waterloo and Kingston via Twickenham. Passengers use other services via Wimbledon to Kingston.
The circular service to and from London Waterloo via Brentford and via Twickenham will not run and passengers should use other altered train services.
