Forthcoming Disruption on Public Transport


Tubes and trains affected by engineering works

Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September

Some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction (including about half of London Waterloo station) will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday for work on the Waterloo & South West Upgrade project. A reduced train service will run in and out of London Waterloo on the lines which remain open.

All lines in the Wimbledon, Surbiton and Kingston areas will also be closed on Sunday and replacement bus services will run on routes passing through this area.  Alterations for both these works are listed below.

South Western Railway services will use platforms 1 to 4 at Vauxhall . Many trains will leave London Waterloo from different platforms to normal - please check displays at station or utilise live departure boards .

Queenstown Road station will have no service

Circle Line

Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October

No service between Baker Street and Hammersmith / High Street Kensington.

District line

Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October

No service between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road.

Before 0900 and after 2100 each day, no service between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia)



Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October

No service between Baker Street and Hammersmith.

No planned engineering works

Central Line Weekend Engineering works

No planned engineering works
