Tubes and trains services affected by engineering work and strikes

FORTHCOMING STRIKE ACTION

Thursday 18 and Saturday 20 August

Planned strikes by rail staff on this day will affect servives on South Western Railway, Southern and Great Western Railway. There will also be disruption on London Overground services and some parts of the District line.

Friday 19 August

RMT strike action will mean severe disruption or no service at all on London Overground and London Underground

Friday 19 and Saturday 20 August

Industrial action by bus drivers working for London United will result in disruption to many routes in west and north west London

Saturday 13 to Tuesday 16 August

South Western Railway services will be disrupted by planned engineering works between Hounslow and Barnes.

In a bid to improve reliability by upgrading signalling, Network Rail engineers will be working on the line between Saturday 13 to Tuesday 16 August, meaning buses will replace trains on that line for four days, including two working days. This will affect stations including Chiswick, Brentford, Kew Bridge, Isleworth and Syon Lane.

District line

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 September

No service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. Replacement buses operate between Gunnersbury and Osterley.

Service PL1: Hammersmith - Acton Town - Ealing Common - Ealing Broadway - South Ealing - Northfields - Boston Manor - Osterley. Overnight journeys extended to Hounslow East - Hounslow Central - Hounslow West - Hatton Cross - Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 - Heathrow Terminal 5

piccadilly line

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 September

No service between Hammersmith and Heathrow (all terminals) / Uxbridge (including Night Tube). Use Metropolitan line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. Replacement buses operate.

PL1: Hammersmith - Acton Town - Ealing Common - Ealing Broadway - South Ealing - Northfields - Boston Manor - Osterley. Overnight journeys extended to Hounslow East - Hounslow Central - Hounslow West - Hatton Cross - Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 - Heathrow Terminal 5

Service PL3: Overnight only. Hammersmith - Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, non-stop

Service PL4: Gunnersbury - Acton Town - Ealing Common - North Ealing - Hanger Lane (for Central line and Park Royal) - Alperton (Bridgewater Road) - Sudbury Town (Whitton Avenue East) - Sudbury Hill - South Harrow - Rayners Lane.

Service PL7: Gunnersbury - Osterley - Hounslow East - Hounslow Central - Hounslow West - Hatton Cross - Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3. Late evening journeys extended Heathrow Terminal 5

London Overground

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September

No service between Shepherd's Bush / Richmond and Gospel Oak.

On Sunday ONLY, a special train service operates between Willesden Junction (Low Level) and Stratford calling at Kensal Green, Queens Park, Kilburn High Road, South Hampstead and all stations from Camden Road. Use District line services between Richmond and Gunnersbury and local buses 220 and 228 between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction.

Replacement bus service R operates between Gunnersbury and Camden Road calling at South Acton (Acton Lane), Acton Central, Willesden Junction, Queens Park (for Brondesbury Park), Brondesbury, West Hampstead, Finchley Road Underground (for Finchley Road & Frognal), Hampstead Heath, Gospel Oak (Agincourt Road / Southampton Road) and Kentish Town West.

piccadilly line

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September

No service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Use Metropolitan line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. Replacement buses operate between Acton Town and Rayners Lane.
