Opportunity within a growing collective for solo and group artists
Be part of an intra-community celebration of original work by aspiring and established artists alike Since 2013, hundreds of aspiring artists from ages 3 to 84 have produced lively Move art from scratch, in workshops run by established artists whose own work is included in the collection of paintings, prints, drawings, collage and sculptures. Having launched at a group exhibition during a London arts festival, representing artists from Lambeth, Wandsworth, Hackney and Tower Hamlets, the Move collection continues to tour public venues in London and south west England.
Call for artists
Until the end of September, entries in all visual art categories, by solo artists and/or groups regardless of their age, experience or location, will be considered for the launch of the 2016 collection. The theme seeks imaginative responses inspired by the theatre of performance and movement, dance or music, with new and original work due next year. That of at least one professional and one aspiring artist will be selected to feature in 2016 publicity. An entry fee applies. Please contact the curator for details: mel_barry@outlook.com.
