Set in a TV studio a little in the future, where ‘actoids’ have replaced actors, Comic Potential tells the story of Adam, a talented young writer, keen to impress his idol.

Adam meets actoid ‘Jacie’, and he believes she’s different to all the rest - funny, imaginative and naturally reactive, an opinion not shared by others in the studio.

So, in a bid to avoid Jacie being ‘melted down’, they go on the run. But how will Jacie cope with all these new experiences and feelings? And will Adam be able to save her from a robotic fate worse than death?
