Adult Taster Workshop: Wire Lace Jewellery
26 April, 10 for 10.30am - 4.30pm with 1hr break for lunch.
The aim of the course is to enable students to make at least one bobbin lace wire pendant to take home.

Equipment can be lent to those who have none - but must be pre-booked.
Charge: £30 + £2.50 for materials, assuming that the students work Jan's wire designs.
Design Workshop: The Hearing Eye (Adults)
17 May, 10 for 10.30am - 4.30/5pm with 30 min break for lunch.
The aim of this workshop is to produce visual pattern from musical stimulus, encouraging students to produce design suitable for interpretation in diaphanous textiles such as lace.

Students should bring their own equipment and a needs list will be provided in due course.

If coming on the M25: Leave at Junction 10 (A3) and head towards London. Carry on, through the underpass (sign posted Wandsworth). At the bottom of the hill, just after the junction with the A205 turn left into Santos Road which has a church on one corner and the library building housing the De Morgan Centre on the other. Santos Road is a parking street.
If coming through the centre of London: please bear in mind that roads around the bridges across the Thames can be very congested. Please leave plenty of time.
Parking:
There is no parking for visitors at the Centre. There is an NCP car park on Garrett Lane approximately 10 minutes walk away. Parking can also be found in the surrounding residential streets.
