Get Active Festival 2016

Stalls available for local businesses, sports & community groups

Local businesses, sports groups and community groups are being invited to take a stall at this year’s Get Active Wandsworth Festival.

Now in its seventh year, the festival in King George’s Park on July 9 is expected to attract around 8,000 people.

The free event showcases some of the best that the borough has to offer in sport, physical activity and health and aims to inspire local people to get up and moving. It features stage performances, sports activities, health advice, children’s entertainment, free NHS health checks, inflatables and food stalls.

Wandsworth based sports clubs, health organisations and businesses with an interest in sport and physical activity can get involved with the festival by taking a stall or taking advantage of sponsorship opportunities.

Stalls cost £50 for local businesses and £20 for community organisations.

The council’s leisure spokesman Cllr Jonathan Cook, pictured left said:
“Last year’s event was packed out, so I would urge local businesses and groups to get involved and make the most of this fantastic opportunity to showcase your work.”

Businesses or community groups that are interested in a stall or sponsorship opportunities, should complete this online form.

The Get Active Festival is organised by Enable Leisure and Culture on behalf of the council.
