Supporting the Hannah King Fund for the Meningitis Research Foundation

"Until the early hours of Friday 7 December 2007 Hannah King had been a healthy, beautiful, talented, fun-loving, uniquely stylish 16 year old, with a bright future ahead of her in the medical profession.  Shortly after 5am that morning, Hannah was rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis.  She died five hours later.”

Helen & Andrew Fickling are hosting an Open Garden Event in support of the Hannah King Fund for the Meningitis Research Foundation.

“We will be holding a fund raising ‘Open Garden Event’ at our home in the heart of Putney, to help raise money for valuable research to find a vaccine for bacterial meningitis.  We will be serving teas, coffee and delicious home-made cakes in our garden and home throughout the two days.  This is a terrific opportunity to come along and join us. Bring your friends, families and neighbours.  Pop-in and meet up after during the day and come and relax in the our contemporary home and garden where we will also be selling Vintage and Antique decorative Objects, Antique garden paraphernalia, Jewellery, Art and Photography with a percentage of all taking going to the fund.”
