Bid for Ronan Keating Live in Concert

In October, local businessman Steve Thomson will be celebrating his 49th birthday somewhere above 4,000m in the Peruvian Andes. Steve is undertaking a high altitude trek to raise funds for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney www.rhn.org.uk which does great and unstinting work with patients who suffer from neurological problems as a result of accidents or diseases such as Parkinson's and Huntingdon's.

Epsom Downs Racecourse; home of the Vodafone Derby, www.epsomderby.co.uk have kindly given Steve two Queen's Stand badges for the evening of August 17th to auction in support of the trek fund.

But this is no ordinary racenight! Great racing is assured, but even better, the race programme will be followed by Ronan Keating in Concert, live on stage in front of the grandstand.

Ronan's concert was scheduled for July 7th, but in light of the tragic events in London that day the gig was postponed until the 17th...and if you want to be there, all you have to do is send an email to editor@putneysw15.com with your bid. The highest bid received by the end of Sunday 14th will get the tickets, with ALL the proceeds going to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.
