Putney High School students warm up for their trip to Edinburgh


Pitch Purple is warming up for 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Listen with a concert at THe Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability on 9th August.



Featuring the winners of the Voice Festival UK 2017 and 2015, Pitch Purple is an all-female a cappella group from London. The group currently has 17 members, comprised of members aged 13-17.

​Singing unique arrangements by members of the group themselves and their MD, Pitch Purple sings a wide variety of music, from David Bowie to George Michael, and the Jonas Brothers to Imagine Dragons.

What is a capella? A cappella is technically defined as singing without instrumental accompaniment, some groups use their voices to emulate instruments; others are more traditional and focus on harmonizing. A cappella styles range from gospel music to contemporary to barbershop quartets and choruses.
