Wandsworth Summer Reading Challenge

Space Hop is coming to a library near you

This summer¹s reading challenge for school kids runs from now until the end of the school holidays on September 4th. It's the UK's biggest reading event for children and it¹s free to participate.

Youngsters simply need to read up to six books over the summer break, and then tell staff at their local library what they thought of the book to collect rewards.

At any local library they can also pick up their holograph membership cards and a special fold-out poster to help keep track of their reading. Then they collect stickers as they borrow books.

Completed reading space missions will receive a medal and a certificate.
