Women Wanted For The Shimmy

Be part of the last event of the Wandsworth Art Festival

The Ophelia Project are looking for women to participate with their all-female flashmob as part of The Shimmy event at Wandsworth Park on the last day of Wandsworth Arts Festival.  There is no dance routine to learn - all movement is very simple and suitable for all.  The website below tells you all you need to know.  The aim of the flashmob is to bring together women of different ages and experiences as an act of solidarity and sisterhood – as well as to have lots of fun!

Please find full details on the website below for The Ophelia Flashmob.  The flashmob is taking place in Wandsworth Park Putney on Sunday 22 May. We hope to make this an exciting event for The Ophelia Project and everyone involved.  We are holding one workshop on 15 May  in order to rehearse for the flashmob.  It is not compulsory to attend this workshop in order to take part but it will give you a clearer idea of what we are doing (sign up for more details) and enable you to get more involved.

The Shimmy – is an afternoon of eclectic outdoor arts activities along the riverfront in Putney on May 22.
