Annual awards for those who contribute so much

We've lots of great sports clubs in Wandsworth and many people who give up much of their time just for the love. Now it's time to recognise them.

The London Awards for Sport and Physical Activity celebrate the clubs, organisers, coaches and volunteers that contribute towards sport and physical activity in their local communities.

They are the capital’s only community sport awards and offer the chance to recognise the people that make it possible for Londoners to stay active and replicate their sporting heroes.

The categories open for nomination are:

Outstanding Voluntary Contribution
Inspirational Performance of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Young Volunteer of the Year
Coach of the Year
Inclusive Champion of the Year
Club of the Year
Education Partner of the Year
Community Sport Project of the Year
Community Physical Activity Project of the Year

Nominations will run until Friday 25th April 2014.

The awards are organised by London Sport, the County Sports Partnership for London. This year’s event is supported by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority and will be held at the Lee Valley VeloPark on the evening of Wednesday 4th June.
