WANDSWORTH BUSINESS SUPPORT NETWORK is a partnership committed to supporting businesses in Wandsworth.
Collectively the network
offers a wealth of experience and services designed to meet your needs.
All key partners have worked together to bring you this unique event.
This event will be both practical and inspirational. It covers key business
areas from finding finance to developing new ideas.
The Network has representation from Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce, Wandsworth
Council, Learning and Skills Council London Central, Universities and
Colleges, as well as business support agencies such as One London and
Business Link for London. We also focus on young
people developing their careers through self-employment with specialist
services from Wandsworth Youth Enterprise and The Prince�s Trust.
the event
11th June 2003 - The Lodge Hotel, Upper Richmond Road, Putney
The event is made up of six free, small and informal workshops, each focusing
on a key business area. They are designed to let you get the advice you
need.
A networking lunch will be combined with an inspirational talk from Simon
Woodroffe, founder, owner and creative driving force behind Yo! Sushi.
Simon, who was the Winner of UK Entrepreneur of the Year 1999 and Group
Restaurateur of the Year 2000, avoids business jargon and talks honestly
and openly about being in business.
The structure of the day is flexible, you can:
� take part in any workshop and have lunch
� just attend a workshop
� or just come for lunch
the choice is yours! Workshops are free and there is a £15 charge
for lunch and inspiration.
