Sahara Live Week At Wandsworth Arts Festival


Aziza Brahim from Saharawi sings in her native language

Aziza Brahim will perform at the World Heart Beat Music Academy on Sat 27th April at 7pm in the run-up to the Wandsworth Arts Festival and Fringe.

Aziza Brahim was born in the Saharawi refugee camps, although she was educated in Cuba, This has highly influenced her music, an innovative blend of traditional Saharawi hawl, West African rhythms and Latin Jazz.

Singing in Hassania, the native language of her homeland and Spanish, Aziza has dedicated all her singing to her people and is regarded as one of the most talented musical voices from Western Sahara
