Christmas & New Year refuse and recycling collection arrangements

Your refuse and recycling collection day will stay the same unless your normal collection is on a Saturday. There will be no refuse or recycling collections on Saturday 25th December 2004 or Saturday 1st January 2005. These collections will be made the next day.

Christmas tree collection 3-15 January 2005

The Council will collect your Christmas tree, shred it and sent it for composting into soil conditioner. Your tree will be collected from the front of your property on your normal refuse and recycling collection day from the 3-15 January only. If you live in a block of flats please leave your tree near to your refuse bin store, being careful not to block access to the bins.

Please do not leave your tree on the pavement unless you have nowhere else at the front of your property to leave it.

No Gratuities
Your refuse and recycling collectors are not permitted to ask for money. If you are asked for money please let the Council know.
