14-year-old Serena Beakhurst found in area this morning
Serena Beakhurst had been missing from Tulse Hill, Lambeth since December 15th after leaving her home to attend a college course in Mitcham Road.
Police had been appealing for assistance in tracing the 14 year old - who had been missing from the Tulse Hill area since Wednesday 15 December - when was found in the early hours of this morning in the Wandsworth area.
It’s thought that Serena caught the No. 201 bus from Herne Hill Station on December 15th, and her tutor confirmed that she attended her course. But there were no reported sightings after the course finished at 4pm.
Little is currently publicly known about what happened to Serena between then and the early hours of this morning. Serena's family have no reason to think she ran away and did not have any idea as to where she went. Officers will speak to her in due course.
