At the already congested junction with Upper Richmond Road
A Number 37 bus crashed into the traffic island at the junction of West Hill and the Upper Richmond Road at tea-time today.
There are no reported injuries, but West Hill has been closed in the direction of Tibbet's Corner and the crashed bus remains at the site.
Traffic is extremely heavy in the area, which is already being affected by major gas works on the Upper Richmond Road.
