The Royal Botanical Gardens Kew, by Simon Creed
On Monday 14th March the Friends host another Lunchtime Lecture. Simon Creed, a Botanical Horticulturist, will give an illustrated talk on the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew. He will talk about how the gardens were established, the current role as a global institution and the importance of plant species survival.
The lecture will be held at the Ethelburga Community Centre, 60 Worfield Street, Battersea SW11 4RA. No steps! Please visit Ethelburga Community Centre webiste for full information.
Doors open and lunch available from 12:15.
Lecture from 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Sandwiches, fruit, cakes etc can be pre-ordered and may be eaten whilst listening. Coffee, tea, juice, wine and lager will be available for a small donation.
The cost of attending is £6, with lunch available for an additional £5.
Get tickets online at www.batterseapark.org/lecture. Ticket(s)/luncheon voucher(s) can be collected on the day unless postage is added to the payment.
