Marking final shared ownership offering from developer
This autumn Trafalgar House - the final block in Battersea Reach released in conjunction with London based developer Notting Hill Housing - has launched with 53 one and two bedroom Shared Ownership apartments. This final contribution from Notting Hill Housing marks several years of its presence at the waterside redevelopment.
When finally complete, Berkerly Group St George's Battersea Reach and its award winning formula for mixed tenure schemes will have provided over 1,000 residential apartments and over 282,256 sq. ft. of commercial accommodation.
The completion of Trafalgar House “…marks a crucial realisation in the final phase of the Battersea Reach ensemble,” said Martin Bates, Architect at BroadwayMalyan and project lead for Trafalgar House.
He continued, “Trafalgar House is designed to provide a welcoming and distinctive pedestrian friendly gateway on both sides of the building. The architecture speaks to the local London vernacular employing London brick and clay tiles to articulate a language common along York Road and Wandsworth Bridge Road.”
Situated within four acres of communal gardens, Trafalgar House has access to a selection of services and amenities including a Young’s bar and restaurant, French patisserie Cake Boy, and a 24 hour gym.
Katie Bond, Director of Notting Hill Home Ownership, said, “Battersea Reach is a prestigious development that has changed the shape of Battersea. We were really pleased with the launch of Trafalgar House which was really well attended. We know that Notting Hill Housing’s final offering at this sought-after development will be really well received by new and existing residents.”
Eligibility at Trafalgar House incorporates anyone living or working in the London borough of Wandsworth or who is a key worker (as defined by Wandsworth Council) registered with Wandsworth council’s Home Ownership team. Prices for a one bedroom home start from £108,750 for a 25% share of a full market value of £435,000.
