Most Wanted Burglary Suspect Hands Himself In

After Met Police release images of suspected offenders

A man who was circulated as one of London's 12 most wanted burglary suspects has been charged.

Olu Adeshina, 27, handed himself in to a police station in Wandsworth last Tuesday (12 January).

He was charged with two burglaries and one attempted burglary and was remanded in custody to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court.

Images of twelve of London’s most wanted burglary suspects were released by the Metropolitan Police as it intensifies its crackdown on the capital’s most evasive suspects just before Christmas.

Commander Simon Letchford of Territorial Policing at the MPS, made a statement just before Christmas saying, "We will use every means at our disposal to catch those wanted so they can face justice, so our message is clear: If your face is on this list, hand yourself in - don’t ruin Christmas for your family."
