Attack happened on the 344 as it passed Battersea Power Station
Police investigating an allegation of sexual assault on a Route 344 bus on Tuesday 23 August have made an arrest.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on Saturday 24 December on suspicion of sexual assault. He has been bailed to return on a date in January 2017.
The incident occurred on the number 344 bus to Clapham at about 9.10am.
A 25-year-old woman boarded the bus at Elephant and Castle and sat on the top deck.
The suspect, who was sitting behind her, inappropriately touched her. At this point the bus was passing Battersea Power Station. After the victim challenged him, the suspect got up and left the bus.
