Man Dies After Collision At Clapham Junction

A collision at the Junction of St John's Hill and Falcon road has resulted in the death of its elderly victim.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following the fatality on Friday (July 27th) between the man and a bus.

Police were called to the junction, which is near Clapham Junction rail station, at about 10.30am to reports of a road traffic collision between a pedestrian and a bus. The driver of the bus stopped at the scene.

The 78-year-old pedestrain was treated by the London Ambulance Service and taken to a south London hospital.

He died in the early hours of the morning of Saturday 28 July. His next of kin have been informed.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
