for the advance screening with Cineworld Wandsworth
Cineworld Wandsworth at the Southside Shopping Centre on Wandsworth High Street, has teamed up with www.WandsworthSW18.com to offer you the chance to win a pair of cinema tickets absolutely free to use for an advance screening of the film Kidulthood. This exclusive screening is taking place at Cineworld on Thursday 2 March at 8pm and a Q&A session with actress Jaime Winstone and Producer George Isaac will follow.
Based on real children and real stories, Kidulthood is a new kind of British film. It focuses on the lives of West London teenagers Trife (Aml Ameen) and girlfriend Alisa (Red Madrell). Trife is facing a crossroads in his life as his Uncle is tempting him with fast money and the gangster lifestyle, while Alisa offers him an escape to what she promises will be a better life. However, her best friend (Jaimie Winstone) is only interested in taking her out on a drug and shopping binge. This is a shocking story that finds humour in its narrative.
With a total of 14 screens cinema-goers can enjoy traditional American studio and independent productions, festival winners, Bollywood and UK and foreign language films.
For a chance to win tickets to watch Kidulthood you must be a member of the site then simply email your name to kidulthood@cineworld.co.uk - The first 40 people to enter this competition will receive an email confirmation that they have won tickets. This letter can then be exchanged for tickets at the Cineworld box office on Thursday 2 March.
