Van driver arrested following incident on Burntwood Lane

Junction of Burntwood Lane and Tilehurst Road

A van driver has been arrested after a collision took place in Earlsfield between his vehicle and a motorcyclist this Monday morning (10 July).

The incident, which police are describing as serious, happened at around 7am on Burntwood Lane by the junction with Tilehurst Road.

The motorcyclist, aged in his thirties, was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the van stopped at the scene.

Detectives from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
