Pedestrian left in critical condition after being hit by car on East Hill

Detectives investigating a traffic collision in which a pedestrian was seriously injured in Wandsworth are asking for witnesses to come forward.
A man in his eighties was left with what officers from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command are describing as life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on East Hill, at the junction with Tonsley Hill, SW18. The collision occurred at approximately 9.55pm on Tuesday, 15 May.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrest has been made.
Detective Constable James Ramsey said, "Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of what happened in the lead up to this incident.
"I urge anyone who witnessed this collision or who may have dash cam footage of the incident to get in touch."
