Murder investigation launched after killing on St. John's Drive
Police have launched a murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a 25-year-old in Wandsworth, SW18.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to St. John's Drive, at 8.49pm yesterday (Wednesday 13 August) after a man had suffered serious stab injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe they know the identity of the deceased but await formal identification from next of kin who have already been informed.
Detectives from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating. An incident room has now opened under the command of A/DCI Mick Norman.

No arrests have been made at this early stage.
