Two More Arrests Made In Wandsworth Murder


Two 23 year old men now in custody

Detectives investigating the murder of Nicholas Stewart have today arrested two further men.

Two 23-year-old men were arrested in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 16th August, on suspicion of murder.

They are currently in custody at a south London police station.

24 year old Simeon Scott Wasey has been charged with the murder of Mr Stewart and appears in court today.

Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to St John's Drive, SW18, at 20:49hrs on Wednesday, 13 August to reports of an incident.

On arrival they discovered Nicholas Stewart, 25, of SW18, suffering serious stab injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
