Man Glassed in 'Unprovoked' Attack in Graffiti Bar

Wandsworth borough police have published a photo of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attack that took place in a bar in Earlsfield.

Just before 2am on Sunday, 18 February a 25-year-old man was hit in the face with a glass at the Graffiti Bar on Garratt Lane. The unprovoked attack caused lacerations above and below his left eye. He was taken to a south London hospital where he received several stitches before being discharged.

The suspect is described as a slim white man, aged in his mid-twenties, 5ft 7ins tall with short light brown hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and dark shoes.

PC Rob Clarke, from Wandsworth Borough, said: “This is a nasty unprovoked attack on a man who was dancing on the dancefloor. We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the attack to come forward.”
