Police concerned for missing 84 year old

We are growing increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of 84 year old Joseph Smith (pictured below) of Sherwood Lodge Residential Home, Atheldene Road, SW18

He was last seen at the home at 16:15 on Saturday 19th August 2006.

He suffers dementia and high blood pressure and is diabetic. He has not got his medication and may become easily confused. He is described as a white man, 5'7" tall, of medium build with blue eyes and has receding greying dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing dark coloured trousers and a beige V neck jumper.He is agile and outgoing and will regularly engage in conversation. He is not thought to be in possession of any money.

In the last few days he has been saying that he wants to go to Ireland and he has a slight Irish accent.
