Witness Appeal For Robbery On Bassingham Road


Police seeking two suspects

Wandsworth Police are appealing for any witnesses or information concerning a robbery in Bassingham Road SW18 on Sunday 22 November between 7:15pm - 7:30pm.

The victim, a 62 year old male was returning home from the BG mini market. Whilst in Bassingham Road two males approached him from behind, from the direction of Swaffield Road and stopped him.

They said to him:
“Give me your money, give me your money” which the victim refused. Both suspects grabbed victim and began searching his jacket and trouser pockets.

The victim began to struggle and suspects both ran off towards Earlsfield Road. The victim made his way home and discovered that a brown leather wallet was missing from his right trouser pocket.

The suspects are described as black, aged between 35 and 40, one was wearing a blue baseball cap and blue jeans and the other was wearing a baseball cap.
