Man Stabbed On Winstanley Estate


Police are appealing for witnesses to the stabbing and attempted robbery

At approximately 18:00hrs on Friday, 18 July the victim - who was on a moped - was approached by three men on Lavender Road, SW11.

The suspects attempted to steal his moped and during the robbery the 19-year-old victim was stabbed a number of times. The suspects ran off towards York Gardens.

The victim was taken by London Ambulance Service to a south London hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not life-threatening.


Detectives from Wandsworth are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who saw the stabbing or has information regarding the suspects.
They are described as:

- Suspect 1 is described as black, aged approximately 18 years, 5ft 10ins tall, with short afro hair and a gold tooth. He was wearing a white vest.

- Suspect 2 is described as a mixed race man, aged approximately 18 years, 5ft 10ins tall with short afro hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and shorts.

- Suspect 3 is described as black, aged in his mid-20s, 6ft tall and wearing a dark coloured top.
