Wandsworth Police seek help with missing lady

Officers are appealing for the public's help to find a 72-year-old woman who went missing in the Wandsworth area last night, Friday 10 March 2006.

Pamela Belcher is from the Bracknell area had travelled with her husband by train to Earlsfield to go to the Wimbledon dog track.

After leaving the train at 18.15, they went to the ticket machine and as her 69-year-old husband used it Pamela walked away. Officers are particularly concerned as Pamela is easily confused and the weather has been poor overnight.

Pamela was last seen wearing a red jacket, grey trousers and black shoes. She has short fair hair and is approximately 5ft 1in tall.

Officers are making enquiries with train companies in case Pamela re-boarded the train, which was travelling to Epsom/Guilford, or another at the station.
