Crisis Midwinter Swim

Jump in at Tooting Lido and raise much-needed funds

Crisis Midwinter Swim in Wandsworth

Crisis Midwinter Swims involve people taking on a solo or relay challenge in the icy cold waters of the Lido whilst raising awareness for homeless people who face spending Christmas on the street.

Challenge yourself to a solo dip or take on a polar relay with friends at Tooting Bec Lido on Saturday 20th January

Swimmers sign up and pay a registration fee as well as, hopefully raising sponsorship money. All the donations are used to fund the Crisis at Christmas Campaign which welcomes the homeless in from the cold at Crisis at Christmas centres.

Crisis at Christmas is a lifeline for thousands of homeless people, offering support and companionship during the holiday period. People are offered a chance to shower and get clean clothes, have three nutritious hot meals including Christmas dinner, a health check and treatment from a doctor, optician and dentist and an introduction to Crisis’ year-round services to help them leave homelessness behind for good.

Will you brave the cold and help raise money for Crisis this Christmas? Your icy plunge could help end homelessness once and for all. Just click here for all the details.
